Jun 04 2009: Sweat

Jun 4, 2009 by

Today was my third workout with EA Sports Active. You hear it time and time again how great exercise can make you feel. I know this really well, because once upon a time I was an avid exerciser, particularly during a time when I was in high school. I was playing varsity tennis that had grueling practices (seriously, we ran…a lot), and then after practice I was doing step-aerobics (ah, the 90s), or going to lift weights. On top of all that, I was also taking private tennis lessons and playing tennis on nights and weekends. You would think that I was awesome at tennis, sadly, not as good as my other teammates, but I sure played hard. You would also think I was super fit. Once again, not so much. My diet should have been better. But I did feel great. I loved it. And over the years, I have gone in and out of phases of exercise. I’m so glad to be in an exercise phase right now. I love that feeling of just finishing a work out and your neck and back is sweaty and you can drink a whole glass of water without even trying. So tonight’s picture is post work out. It’s not a sexy picture by any means (or that exciting, hence the tinting), but I think you can tell that I feel goooood.

I actually wiped my eye make up off on my shirt. Super sexy.

May 29 2009: Wii

May 29, 2009 by

I promised myself that if I met my first weight goal that I would buy a Wii. Well, I didn’t meet it (yet), but I decided to get one anyway. The timing was too perfect. My sister’s boyfriend Johnny knows all there is to know about the gaming system, and since I had him over at my house I thought he could help me buy it and help me set it up. So I went for it and decided I would set up a new reward for getting to my goal weight. Plus, I bought EA Sports Active. I’ve heard absolutely amazing things about it. A new 30-day challenge is starting on June 1, and I wanted to participate. Now I can. And I bet I’ll hit my goal weight faster than ever, now that I have it!

I already have Wii arm.
