Tonight I hung out with my sister. We have this thing where we like to make each other cry. I know, weird huh? But it’s so easy to do. It’s especially easy to make my sister cry. She’s never seen True Blood ever, knows nothing about it, but when I put on the end of this past Sunday’s episode and showed her a very sad scene between Eric and Godric, she started balling. Then, I saw that we Little Women on OnDemand, so I played it simply to get to the part where Beth dies. This scene gets me every single time too, so we were both balling like babies. The only picture I captured today was from watching Little Women. Marissa thought Christain Bale looked hilarious and reminded her of someone, so I snapped this picture of her. Sadly, before the night ended I got really sick, and so this was the best I could do.

I went with Marissa to see 500 Days of Summer right after work tonight. She had already seen it, and loved it. I knew I was going to love, and sure enough, I did. I thought it was great. Especially the expectations vs. reality sequence. I’ve so been there.

Jul 16 2009: Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

I completely failed to get a photograph and I’m annoyed! I went to see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince with my sister and some friends. I even brought my camera in order to do it, but I chickened out. I feel like I’m constantly photography my sister because she’ll tolerate it, but I just didn’t feel comfortable taking a photo of everyone right after the movie. I must get better about that. So yeah, I suck. But besides that I loved the movie! It was of course super crowded, but we got there early enough to get great seats. I loved every second of it and can’t wait to see it again!

I had another Harry Potter night in preparation for Half Blood Prince. Marissa and Johnny once again came over and we watched the movie. Even though it was the second time I had seen it in the past 24 hours, it was more emotional for me. The great news is that Marissa is all caught up now, and we’re going to go see the new one tonight! I’m so excited!

Jul 13 2009: Harry Potter Catch Up

Crappy picture, but you get the gist. Marissa has never seen the Harry Potter movies! Nor has she read the books. Her boyfriend Johnny is a huge HP fan, as am I, so we’ve been getting together regularly to get her caught up in time for Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince. Tonight we started Goblet at like 10 p.m.
