I completely sucked at taking photographs over these series of days. Which sucks, because that means I’ll have a gap in my album. I’ll have to come up with something else to put in place. Perhaps a quick recount of what went on this week:

  • I bought another backpack for my trip. I went with my friend David to Mike’s Camera to scope out camera backpacks. I got a cute Lowepro one with side access. I think it’s going to be perfect for my trip, but also for photo walks.
  • Along that same vein, I pretty much spent my weeknights making plans for my trip.
  • At work, things were crazy. Getting everything ready before I left was some major stress.
  • I got over 100,000 points on Bejeweled.

And that’s about it. Truthfully, I’m having a hard time remembering what went on. I know that on Sunday I watched Football all day and that I worked really hard all week. Just goes to show how taking a photo a day gives importance to every day of your life. It makes it somewhat memorable.

I failed to take a photo yesterday. Well that’s not exactly true. I did take a photo but it’s just not right for the blog. So I looked through the archives and found a photo from six years ago at this exact time (3/25/03…it’s as close as I could get). Funny story about this photo. I lost a bet with a co-worker and she made me eat Sushi. I’m not a big fan of fish in general so it was quite a task for me. She made it easy on me though and didn’t get anything too out there. It was the last time I had sushi as well.

Im not going to lie, that looks pretty tasty.

Today was just not my day. I didn’t feel so good and I set way too many goals for myself that I didn’t come close to accomplishing. I did try to hang my Obama poster today in the process ended up knocking the chair I was going to stand on down the stairs and into a 24×36″ glass frame that I had bought for my sister’s Obama poster. It was truly one of those moments where all you can do is watch and it made a truly glass shattering sound. So I spent a half hour cleaning all that up while convincing the cats to stay upstairs. I gave up on hanging the picture. That’s going to have to be on a different day.

My stainless steel tongs were helpful getting all the glass up.

Because, apparently, I cannot measure properly. That’s also bad news for a knitter. I have no idea how I went wrong with this. So the question is, do I get a new frame or deal with it like this?
