I didn’t get a photo today and I’m not sure why. I just completely forgot. So I picked a photo from my Tumblr blog. Over on Tumblr, I mostly post pictures, some are mine, most are not. I love to look at inspirational and beautiful things, and so that’s usually what I post. Here’s one I did the other day. I love this photograph from the 1940s.

Today was great! My Dad and Cathy came up to visit and we got to have a really fun lunch at Mimi’s and then we went to the mall for some shopping. It was so laid back and really fun. My Dad was only slightly impressed with the website I made for him. I don’t think he cared much about the design but was completely obsessed with what it said. So he was editing, editing, editing. It wasn’t much unlike being at work. But he did love the card I got him. It was an audio card that has the line from A League of their Own…”There’s no crying in baseball.” He loves that line!

Well it wasn’t the most exciting Saturday in the world for me. I spent most of my day working on a new website for my dad’s law office. But I did grill out a bit and cooked up some teriyaki skewers. I love summer grilling! The best part about these skewers is that they are only 100 calories each.

I helped organize and host an organization wide event at my job. I was in charge of all the logistics, like food and tables, etc. It all turned out all right. I’m so glad it’s over!

So I didn’t take a picture yesterday. Booo! I thought about cheating and using one from a different day, but decided not to. So instead I’l show you what I was working on instead. I am very interested in learning how to use Wordpress.org installations. You get so much more control over your blog and can download all of these plug ins. But of course that much customization isn’t enough for me. I’ve decided to learn how to make my own Wordpress theme. It’s great because I get to use CSS and PHP, which I’m always in need of practicing. So right now I’m just in the design stages and I’ve come up with this look for my Project 365 blog.
