Fall 2010 TV
(Two posts in one day? I’m crazy like that.)
So if you know me at all, you know that I love television. I do. I love it so! The beginning of the new season always stresses me out. What new stuff should I watch, which programs that I love changed day/time. So I did what I tend to do, I Googled it and found a nice matrix from TV Guide.
Everything is pretty much in order, and I’m only adding two new shows to my list. Everything else looks like complete crap and I have ZERO faith that the networks will continue the majority (if not all of them, even the ones I’m picking). The networks drive me crazy. If they just took the time and money to develop a show and really give it a chance, instead of throwing a bunch of money at it short term and then cancel it quickly, I think people would be more likely to try the new ones. I refuse to be Journeyman’d all over again (grumble, grumble).
So here’s what my fall TV schedule looks like. Thank God for DVRs and OnDemand. And Thursday–well that just sucks. I guess I’ll be catching up on the weekends.
Monday:
7-7:30 How I Met Your Mother
8-9 The Event (New!)
9-10 Castle (which barely hangs on for me. I missed so many episodes last season)
Tuesday:
7-8: Glee
7-9: Biggest Loser (Alison Sweeney loyalty and my food issues go hand in hand)
Wednesday:
7-8: Undercovers (New. JJ Abrams, ’nuff said. Will probably get cancelled.)
8-8:30: Modern Family
8-9: SVU (Classic. Missed a lot last year that I keep meaning to go back and watch).
Thursday:
7-7:30: Big Bang Theory (It makes me angry that they moved this show to Thursdays)
7-7:30: Community
7:30-8: 30 Rock
8-9: Grey’s Anatomy
8-8:30: The Office
Internet: My Generation (ABC), Vampire Diaries (CW)
Friday:
8-9: Smallville (Last season. I’m almost caught up and so glad I am. After meeting Justin Hartley -The Green Arrow- this summer, I love this show even more)
Sunday:
Football
OnDemand: Boardwalk Empire (Gonna give this a go. So I guess that’s 3 new ones, but it’s HBO, so I feel like it doesn’t count)
9-10:30: Masterpiece Mystery!! (We’re getting a new Wallendar series!)
Daily:
As always – Days Of Our Lives. If you’re looking for new programming that is actually fun and compelling and contributes to a historical part of our television history, try a soap or go back to a soap. Lots of work goes into these and they are entertaining. Don’t let the networks axe them.
The Daily Show and Colbert Report.
Starting November 8: Conan on TBS!

OMG, I made mine last week so I have to share….
