Sep 22 2009: Planning, shopping, and all that

Still in the midst of trip planning. I write this at 7 p.m. and I can’t even tell you how much more I feel like I need to do before tomorrow afternoon. I’m actually in a good position, but I still feel overwhelmed. I got a lot taken care of today with shopping for last minute essentials. I also went to the bank to cash a check and while I was there I did a little bit of a money exchange. It’s exciting to have British Pounds in my wallet. It’s all coming along so fast now. It won’t be long until I’m on the plane and headed to London.

Speaking of sitting on the plane, I feel so blessed to have such amazing Internet friends. A friend of mine through my EJami fan board hooked me up with upgraded seats on our flight to London and back. I’ve never had an upgrade in my life and so I am so thrilled. I think it will really help us get the required rest we need on our overnight flight.
