Jul 28 2009: A long stroll across campus

There was a retirement party across campus in the alumni center for a colleague. I ducked out a bit early and took a long stroll across campus. I thought ahead and brought my camera so I could practice photography more. I’m really trying to get as good as I possibly can before my trip. I remember being absolutely frustrated in Ireland that my pictures weren’t turning out like I would have wanted them. I especially struggled in cathedrals and castles. This time, that won’t happen. The campus I work on is a such a beautiful place, so it wasn’t hard to get some nice shots out of it.
