Jun 11 2009: Reminder
When I realized that I really needed to wear shoes to use my EA Sports Active, I dug around for a pair that I could devote just to my EA-S-A workouts. I found an old pair. A pair that I loved so much when I bought them and wore them out big time. I was a lot lighter back then and much more active. They remind me of a good time in my life and so what better reminder, as I’m in the process of making new life changes, of a previous me that was healthier.
They may be beat up, but they feel great.

Wasn’t I with you when you got those shoes? I remember loving the pink NB shoes so much and wanting a pair myself. Funny how your shoes remind me of good times too.. I bet they are 200 times more comforting for you.

Yes, you were with me Amanda. Remember how delighted we were! Remember how we ran into David and his gang at the mall and I had to show them off, like any of them cared as much as we did.
I was so afraid to get them dirty. I actually took different shoes to Disneyworld a few days later so I wouldn’t get them messed up. I’m glad you feel the same way, because for whatever reason they really remind me of good times and feel special somehow.
And thanks about the blog! Moving my blog over to a hosted site that uses wordpress.org is awesome. There’s so much more you can do there. If you’re ever inclined, let me know and I’ll lend you a hand. I learned a lot in this process!
