I have a co-worker that works for my organization technically, but really works for the faculty in a specific School. She is such a delight. Always really friendly, professional, and helpful. I always get a kick out of her and I truly wish our jobs intersected more than just our monthly organization-wide staff meeting. Well I was able to help her out with something a couple of weeks ago, and she was very grateful. Apparently, just saying thanks wasn’t enough. When I came into my office today, I found this adorable gift bag. Inside, were “Chocolate Chip Brownie Double Deckers,” which I’ve realized is the most delicious treat ever invented. I mean, a chocolate chip cookie meshed against a brownie. YES PLEASE! I wasn’t the only one who got some of her treats, my colleague Greg got some too. Both of us felt completely unworthy of her kindness, but her gesture definitely brightened a bleak day.
