One of my favorite things…
When I was a little girl my mom put together and painted this adorable music box for me. She used my absolute favorite Care Bear and the box plays “Talk To the Animals”. I played it all the time when I was a kid and it is by far one of my favorite things.
And by the way, today is my mom’s 54th birthday. Happy Birthday mom!
It works as well today as the day she made it!
I’m in love with Kate Winslet. Seriously. So I was thrilled when she won Best Actress for The Reader, which was a movie that I also loved very very much. She’s so beautiful and classic. I’m thankful that she works as hard as she does and we get to see her on screen a lot.

The second and full day of Suite Retreat was really fun and rather productive. First of all, Brian drove down to visit and we went to lunch at the Park Meadows Mall. After that I settled in on the couch and started making layouts and we watched movies. And of course we had to watch “I’m f’ing Matt Damon/Ben Affleck.”!

I finished my layout for this week, and it includes a picture from just an hour before I made it. I like this one a lot. I’m definitely thinking that I need to tweak my last one.
