I would have been so skeptical about today happening a year ago. 2008 was by far one of the best years of my life. My sister and I spent every day watching, reading, and talking about the election. I cannot wait to get started!

Hope you enjoyed watching everything on TV! I sort of wish I had been there, but after seeing how many people were there.. I would have been scared to be in a crowd that big. Anyway it’s pretty fabulous that he is our new president.
My parents even… are Obama converts now. They said they have been listening to him, and they get what he’s saying, and they both cried during the inauguration speech. Too bad they didn’t get to that point 2 months ago. At least he won, and now they understand what I have been telling them this whole time.
My sister on the other hand…I think might be hopeless. She has all this anti-obama propaganda on her FB, I am thinking of removing her as a friend so that I don’t have to see it.
