3 Things

Jan 3, 2009 by

Three days into the new year and nothing terribly remarkable to reveal via the blog. I had another great time at Mike and Rox’s house. Once again, I laughed so hard that I woke up around five in the morning and my ribs, shoulders, and collarbones hurt.

I tried to get really drunk and I did pretty well. I drank well over half of a bottle of Malibu Rum. I was numb and giddy, but didn’t sick or pass out. Others were far worse than me, so it was perfect. I didn’t make a fool of myself.

I wish I had some pictures to share, but I didn’t take any. Rox did, so hopefully I can a hold of some.

Thursday I didn’t do much during the day but returned to Mike’s house for a turkey dinner. It was pretty good and fun. I had some wine which tasted really good to me. I hope I’m not becoming a lush.

Since then I’ve just been hanging out writing and going out to places. It’s been good.

This should usually be the post where I rattle off some of my resolutions for the year. They’re not terribly much and pretty self explanatory. I want to simply do three things:

1. Finish my book.
2. Get divorced.
3. Go to Europe.

That’s about it really. I’m looking forward to 09, even though I’ll be turning 30 in like 45 days. Odd years always work out nicely for me.

Nice post. And I’m glad you had a great time at their house. I often wish around this time of year especially that I was back in colorado with everyone. We had some fun New year’s. And other fun times. I like your 3 things. They are all awesome and attainable.

I am thinking of my goals for this year as well. I want them to be attainable. And wow your bday is coming up soon! 30 is awesome IMO, I hope you are looking forward to it.
