MVid Machine
So in the past month, I have made four new EJami mvids. I must say that the quality and content of these vids are improving greatly. I have so much fun making them! So anyway here they are….
1. Go Back to the Start (The Scientist), Posted August 1, 2008
So EJ finally got fed up of Sami’s constant rejection, and they had a nasty fight about custody of their son and he told her it was over. It was a sad moment. Ever since Lucas returned in May it was one event after another trying to tear EJami apart. On the boards I kept saying how it would be so nice if we could erase the past couple of months of EJami torture. So I took a cue from Coldplay and their video “The Scientist” and just reversed it to back to when they were together right before Lucas came home and ruined everything. The end scene with the family time was post that fight. They were spending time with the kids and getting along. It was when the new page turned in EJami’s relationship, because they’ve come to a new understanding.
2. Sami Feels it All, Posted August 2, 2008
We always joke about Sami and her “feelings”. Literally, they overuse that word. So this is a tribute to Sami’s bi-polar all over the map feelings for EJ. More like her feelings of denial.
3. You’ve Got a Way, Posted August 16, 2008
After tripping EJ down the stairs (by accident), Sami realizes how lost she would be without him. So Sami opened up about how she feels about EJ and she didn’t take it back. She finally said that anything is possible. She let go of her struggle to hold back her feelings. They are stuck in a stairwell together and they share an intimate moment that brings them together in a more permanent way. Sami is now on team EJ. So my friend Ang in New York requested a mvid with the song “You’ve Got a Way” by Shania Twain, and so I made this for her. She had been waiting for months to be able to use this song but Sami was stubborn for a really long time. She was so happy that we were finally able to use it.
4. In This Life, Posted August 26, 2008
I always wanted to make a video about how EJami are fated to be together. EJ’s grandfather Santo and Sami’s Great Aunt Colleen had a great love affair that ended in tragedy. It’s what sparked the family feud between the DiMera’s (EJ’s family) and the Brady’s (Sami’s family), which has caught Sami and EJ in the middle. Sami and EJ’s predecessors looked just them, and so that left a mark on them. It became destiny for them to end the vendetta that Santo’s son brought upon the Bradys. And now that EJ’s father is back with a vengeance, Sami and EJ have to work together to fight him and protect their family. So here is my tribute to that.
