Ho Ho Ho, back home
Well Christmas has come and gone, and so without giving a full recap I’ll highlight some moments. I’m also posting a slide show below.
First, I got all my Christmas knitting done. It turned out to be a lot easier than I thought it would be. They were a big hit at Christmas.
At home, my mom and I decorated a gingerbread house. We didn’t do that great of a job but it sure was fun!
I woke up to some Santa Claus presents, which is always a bit thrilling. There’s nothing like coming downstairs to be presented with stuff immediately. I love that tradition.
Food was delicious! Mexican at my mom’s and prime rib at my dad’s. No snow in my hometown, which was sad since it snowed a ton where I live and I missed it.
Before Christmas, I spent a couple of days with Brian. We had a very nice time. We even went to the movies! We saw National Treasure on Sunday, which was fun. Mike’s Christmas party went really well. I had three glasses of wine, which made it more fun. I walked away with some cat ornaments from the traditional white elephant game.
So all in all it was a nice holiday. I wasn’t too upset over the whole no husband on Christmas thing, so that’s good. I enjoyed time with my family.
I’m now back at work for two days and then I have another four days off! I love it! Nothing is happening here at all and there’s a ton of snow. It couldn’t be better.
