Happy Accidents
I’ve had a couple of happy accidents in the past couple of days. I love the thought of the happy accident. In case you didn’t know, a happy accident is identified as “a pleasant situation or event that is not planned or intended.”
My first happy accident was stumbling across my cute halloween cupcake pan from Williams-Sonoma a couple of days before Halloween. It was in the most random box and truth-be-told I had forgotten about it all together. So I decided to make some muffins to take to work tomorrow.
My second happy accident is that I left my fancy cake carrying tupperware at Mike’s house. Well I had to find something to carry these muffins in, and so I ended up getting one of handy cupcake carriers. I love it!
My third happy accident happened earlier tonight. I was heading home from an evening with my sister (another date night, we saw the Darjeeling Limited), and I decided to call my mom. I was using my hands-free blue tooth to dial and talk. So I said “Call Mom” and it thought I said “Call Bob.” I didn’t notice and so it began to ring. A man answered, which made me confused. The man on the other line sounded confused as well. I finally looked at my phone and saw “Bob.” Ahhh… my uncle Bob. So I told him who I was and he was so delighted! We had a really nice conversation about sports and other such things. He was always my favorite uncle and I’ve always enjoyed talking to him. I should really keep in touch better.
Another happy accident is that this is my 100th post. I think this is a great topic to have for my 100th post.
I also wanted to post this cute picture of Penny. She was laying there in a weird position against the chair.
