So here’s what’s been going on lately…

This week has flown by. I’m truly excited it’s Friday! Brian had to travel earlier this week. He got home yesterday and now he is going to Phoenix tonight. He’ll be back tomorrow though. That means that I can scrapbook, which is exciting!

I’ve had a ton of meetings lately, so I haven’t had much desk time. Today I do though, and that is a thrill! My eSeminar went really well, and I’m excited to take more. I love Adobe. Here’s a picture of my workspace:

It’s so messy. I can’t wait to move to my new office. I am waiting on the organization to make changes first. This should have already happened by now, but still hasn’t. I really need a change. I’ve been in here now for a long time, and it’s just blocking me from productivity. I love the view of campus and the space, but bleh.

Plus I feel as if I can’t be as clean or organized.

Anyway, this weekend I’m going to a crop tomorrow afternoon, and then that’s it. I have plans for Sunday. I’m sure Brian and I will do something cool.

eSeminar

So I love my new machine! It is so wonderful, and CS3 is really cool too.
I'm about to take an Adobe eSeminar on InDesign. I'm excited!

Brian has been traveling like crazy and therefore, Marissa has been staying
with me a lot lately. We've been having really fun times. On Saturday we had
like the perfect day. First we slept in like crazy. Then around 2:30 we went
to lunch at Noodles in Boulder. Then we saw the movie, "Once." It's a great
movie/musical about this singer/songwriter in Dublin. The soundtrack is
fantastic. After "Once" we went to Barnes and Noble, where we got followed
around by this creepy guy. Then it was back to the movie theater to see
"Knocked Up." This was my second time watching it, and it was even funnier.
I love this movie.

Anyway, my eSeminar is beginning. I will write more afterwards!

Toys and Fireworks

What day is this?

That’s how I feel. With Marissa staying over last week and then the weekend flying by, I kind of feel like it is the weekend today. I’m so confused that it is a Wednesday. I’m doing all of my weekend chores this morning so that tomorrow and Friday will feel so odd.

Anyway, Happy 4th. Oh la la. We have no real plans, besides hanging out with Shawn and Cassie later tonight. I’m not thrilled about this day off in the middle of the week business.

This week at work I got my new computer!! It’s a beast. Transferring data seemed to take forever, but I think it is set up. I’m waiting to download CS3 design premium. Once I have those apps, I will feel so happy!

In other technology news, I got a new phone as well. I got the red Razr from Sprint. Ah, I’m a sucker for anything Bono. It’s pretty cool though. I can watch live tv, which clearly is a good thing. I can also find movie times based on my GPS location, get real time sports scores and news, and of course send picture mail. I realize that’s nothing to special these days, but I’m loving it. It will be great for when Brian is on the road. So far, it’s proven useful for Mike and I to send pictures of what we’re up to on the weekends back and forth to each other. I love toys!
