When It's Not My Money, I'm OK with the Price

May 1, 2007 by

So last night I spent $150 after work in the matter of an hour. Why is it that you can’t escape target for less than $50, and in most cases less than $100. I bought some cheap bath mats, two mothers day cards, a new swim suit, a can of corn, and some lunch meat. $90. Boo! Then I went to get gas. I have a Honda Civic. It cost me $50 to fill up. That’s never happened before and so it was a bit of a shock. I also got a car wash, so that pushed the price up to $57. Lame!

But home was nice once I got there. We grilled steaks and watched You, Me, and Dupree. We both enjoyed it. About half way through the movie, we moved it to the bedroom to watch from there. We both got in our pajamas and the cats joined us for the duration of the movie.

We’re trying to make plans for this weekend. It is our one year anniversary! At this point in time I want to go to Manitou Springs.

Oh! I also wanted to mention that my InDesign training got approved. $1600 later and I’ll have some professional training for once! It’s a four day course in Aurora. I’m pretty excited!
